This restaurant was a nice respite from the crowds off a quiet alley. It was small with clean white linens and simplistic decor. The owner and small staff were very nice and very attentive. Food was made to order but prepared swiftly. The veal and monk fish were excellent. I will recommend this restaurant as a must for all visiting Sciacca!

Ristorante Hostaria del Vicolo

I had high expectations for this restaurant and they were not met. The outdoor area is beautiful however they share this space with an another restaurant that is more family oriented with loud music so you will not get that romantic mood you are expecting. The only dish that had a wow factor was the Busiata, Tonno Scottato was very bland. I have been travelling Sicily for 2 weeks and this was our most disappointing meal

We had a very, very nice experience at Vela. The meal, the service and the atmosphere were all great. I would say that our only comments would be the menu was a bit limited for  a person with dairy and gluten issues plus the portion sizes were smaller than we have experienced in our three-week vacation through most of Sicily.

Very elegant and refined place, I expected more from the pizza, burned under the point of feeling the yellow taste, very thick cucumbers and crude seeds ... For the cost I certainly expected something better ... quick but very personal hastly to remove the plates and close.

No way,if you are in Sciacca , you must have a dinner at this fabolous place.Excellence in raw materials and processes , the result are excellent food.

Little restaurant with so helpful staff and the owner is going arround to serve all your needs. The food was amazing and you need to book a table in advance otherwise you won&rsquo;t be lucky to spend amazing time.

This is an outstanding restaurant. We had the 6 course degustation which was absolutely excellent&hellip;well balanced &amp; superb flavours. If I could give 10 stars I would.. such a joy to have wonderful food, wine &amp; service at a reasonable cost without the pretentiousness of U.K. establishments. A must for any foodie visiting Sciacca.&hellip;

Food was amazing very attentive staff really enjoyed our experience. Have booked it again.
